The application is powered with Trend Micro Smart Protection Network using advanced “in the cloud” web technology.
By using this browser you are provided with the regular browser features such as bookmarking of a webpage and opening multiple sites at the same time. When you drill down to the software features you can see it provides a Filtering (turn on or off) option and Protection Strength (high, normal and low levels) option.
Protections Strength Levels
High: The setting provides the most protection against Web threats. Smart Surfing only let you open Web sites with a very good reputation and blocks all others.
Medium: This is the default setting, which provides protection against Web threats without blocking most Web sites.
Low: The setting provides the least protection against Web threats. Smart Surfing only stops you from opening Web sites with a very poor reputation.
