It is a usual behavior on Facebook that some of your Facebook friends will tag you to certain photos on their profile. In most cases you will be tagged to photos which you may not wish to be tagged! It is an awkward situation to get tagged yourself in to an odd picture as ultimately that gets shared on your wall.
Sometimes it is good to get tagged yourself to relevant photos but not every time. Facebook does not have a flexible mechanism to send notification to the owner for his/her consent to get tagged on an image. Instead of that we can configure the tagging to certain Facebook lists! (A Facebook List needs to be created)
The most annoying thing about tagged images is that whenever your friends uses certain Facebook application that application(My Top fans, My Top followers) will tag you in to a list with an image. Also it will start displaying the tagged images on your Facebook profile as featured images. So today I am going to share a simple tip as how to get rid of those tagged images appearing on your Facebook public profile without deleting them.
It is so simple to do it!
Login to your Facebook account and hop over to the Info page and hide images you want by clicking on the ‘X” mark on the image. (See the screenshot below)
