1) Clear the BlackBerry Logs
Every Action on your BlackBerry is logged which in time will slow down your BlackBerry. So at least once a week you need to clear the logs. While on the home screen hold ALT key and press LGLG. You will see the logs. Then Click on the BlackBerry Menu Button and select “Clear Log” this keeps phone moving faster than before.
2) Clearing Web Browser Cache
You can make a dramatic increase in the speed of your Web Browser by clearing out the cache. Start your browser by clicking on the icon or press the Easy Shortcut “B” on the keypad. (How to enable the shortcuts on the Blackberry) Inside the Browser, Click the MENU key and select “Options”. Select Cache Operations. Click “Clear History,” then Click all the “Clear” buttons below. Answer “Yes” when it asked about clearing ‘Pushed Content.’ When done, Press the Escape key a few times to return to the Browser. This will usually speed up your browsing speed significantly.
3) Closing or Exit From an Application
Make sure you properly Close apps by selecting Menu Button>Close rather than just hitting the END key.
4) Delete Unwanted
Any Apps/Themes you don’t use you should delete.
5) Keep the Device Up to Date
Most Importantly always check for the latest updates for your Blackberry OS. It is very important that you should update the BlackBerry OS because the recent updates will have bug fixes.
